Name of Assignment: Unit Circle Subject: Precalculus Facilitator/Teacher: Ms. Shirkodai In precalculus we learned about unit circles and made an artistic project that entailed how the angles and triangles correlated. I think this assignment addresses thinking and problem solving skills because it requires me to use my knowledge of formulas and unit circles to solve and display the certain angles of the unit circle. I am most proud of the artwork I did in this assignment. I started my project with the idea of making fruit and changed my mind to Pac-Man which looked more fun and artistically compelling. I got improve upon my 21st century skill with this assignment by using more challenging angles to create my unit circle. The most difficult part of completing this task is working on it to complete it in time, instead of procrastinating. I could improve this work by finalizing my idea before executing it- I changed my idea partway through and realized instead of a power fruit, I could have done a vulnerable ghost, which could have made all the smaller angles ghosts. This related to geometry where I learned how to read, use, and analyze angles to use the unit circle. I can apply this project to future learning by not procrastinating with my self-directional project to yield a better result.
