Name of Assignment: Unit Test Subject: Statistics and Probability Facilitator/Teacher: Professor Beran In this assignment, I had to take a test on what we had learned about statistics. It used many different calculators and formulas, all with their own rules. Statistics requires learning and understanding a lot of vocabulary and using it practically in problem-solving. We use a program I am new to called Statcrunch, which utilizes many aspects of statistics in one place and is hard to navigate. I am proud of my score on this test. I got all of the questions correct, although I did use almost the entire hour and fifteen minutes to do it. The most difficult part of this test was figuring out when to use which kind of formula and what kind of calculator. If I were to do this project again, I would make sure to check my answers again to make sure I got everything correct. This test relates to all the math classes I have taken in the past to prepare me for statistics and probability. I can apply this in future math classes and real life when making financial choices. I think the 21st Century Skill this assignment addresses is thinking and problem-solving because it requires using critical thinking skills to understand when to do what with the information that I presented with.
