Goals: The point of this lab was to learn about and understand the reproductive system of a flower. I dissected two flowers (though one didn't count) and made a report describing my results.
Why I chose this project: I did pretty good on this assignment considering we did it during class so that made it easier to understand. I dissected my own flower and referenced it to one of Ms.Papini’s flowers.
21st Century Skills: Information: I used information skills to make the lab report and to make my data on the dissection. Thinking and Problem Solving: I used thinking and problem solving to make the report which we did after class was over. Self-directional: I used self-direction skills to get the project done and not procrastinate.
Current Growth: I changed how I did the report, instead of writing a boring lab report I did a screencast of my pictures and information while I voiced over it. It showcased my ability to switch it up every once in a while.
New Growth: I could probably have changed the way I was doing the recording because it did come out a little weird. I could have changed what I was doing for the flower because I had two but I could only use one for collecting data. I also did a screencast instead of a boring typed report!
