The goal of this assignment was to choose a project from instructables, anything complex enough for a ninth-grade two week project, and to do it. We had to chose something that was doable, with materials we could get our hands on and skillfully use. We had to be safe, safety was a huge focus during this project, Mr. Hazlet wanted us to be safe and not accidently harm ourselves. I chose this project because, for one, it took a long time and a lot of work to make, and two, I chose it because the end product wasn't half bad. I spent a while on this project, I am not abandoning it! I'm not exactly ecstatic about the results but a subpar result is better than none. Plus I finished all of my slides, all five of them, that Mr. Hazlet assigned to this project. A lot of slides were made during this project. Self-directional skills is just about the only skill that applied to this project. The self-directional skill is the skill of making a plan and making through it to the end. Plus the mindset! I made a schedule for this project and had a bit of an issue keeping it solely because I ran into a few problems along the way. The complications made it, well, complicated but I managed to persevere to the finish line. I grew during this project, definitely. I worked a lot on this project and came to the conclusion of I learned a skill and how to stick to a schedule. I was going to work with one thing then it all got thrown out of proportion so I'm still tired just thinking about it. I grew there because I made progress. Progress makes the dream work. . . or something like that. In the end, I finished my project and then took a nap, I grew because I broadened my horizons.
